We strive to have our general conditions as clear and transparent as possible. No small print or difficult descriptions, but a clear and understandable story for both our guests and ourselves. If, despite our efforts, anything is not clear, please let us know. The general conditions and accommodation agreements are listed on our website; www.casa-sensi.com . We advise our guests to take note hereof. By payment of the deposit or the full rent, the general conditions and house rules are considered understood and accepted.
Terminology

| Guest: | a person who has made a reservation and is staying at Casa Sensi and is registered as such |
| Main Guest: | the person who made the reservation at Casa Sensi. The main guest must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for his/her fellow guests |
| Administrator: | the person who, as owner of Casa Sensi, or on behalf of the owner, manages the guesthouse |
| Third party: | any other legal entity that is not a guest, manager or owner |
| Reservation: | confirmation of the booking request by Casa Sensi |
| Cancellation: | revocation or cancellation of the final booking within the applicable period or a no-show at the time of booking |
Guesthouse Casa Sensi
1.1 The facilities of guesthouse Casa Sensi are described on the website www.casa-sensi.com . This website has been compiled with care. There may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the actual situation in Casa Sensi at the time of a visit by guest(s). No rights may be derived from such differences.
1.2 The minimum stay in Casa Sensi from June 1 until October 1 is three nights. Outside of this period a minimum stay of two nights is applicable.
1.3 Casa Sensi has its own lockable entrance and guests have free access to the premises and guesthouse. Arrival and departure during rest periods is not preferred.
1.4 Rest periods are from 23:00 to 07:00. During this period, guests are expected to refrain from making any noise. Casa Sensi / the caretaker and family will also respect these times. Any exceptions will be announced in good time.
1.5 For your own safety, smoking and the use of open fire are prohibited in the guesthouse. Smoking is only permitted in the garden and terrace on the grounds of the guesthouse. The misuse of fire extinguishers or the disabling of smoke detectors is not permitted.
1.6 Guests’ pets are not allowed in/at Casa Sensi, unless agreed otherwise between the main guest and the owner/administrator.
1.7 The guest house is suitable for two persons. A reservation is therefore for a maximum of two people, unless agreed otherwise at the time of booking.
1.8 The check-in time is between 16.00 and 18.00. Check-out must be done by 10.00 at the latest. Deviating check-in and check-out times are only possible after prior consultation and approval by the owner/administrator. A surcharge may apply.
1.9 Casa Sensi is less suitable for children under the age of 12.
1.10 Guests may park their cars in the parking spaces adjacent to Casa Sensi. Parking is at own risk.
1.11 Guests must provide a valid proof of identity on arrival. We also ask guests to provide full address and contact details on arrival. We are obligated to provide these data to the government.
1.12 Guests must follow the instructions of the owner/administrator.
1.13 In the event of any breach of the General Terms and Conditions and/or accommodation arrangements or inappropriate behaviour, the caretakers may immediately deny guests access to Casa Sensi, without refund of the accommodation charges.
1.14 Guests staying at Casa Sensi must comply with the accommodation agreements referred to in the online booking form, which may also be inspected on request.
2.0 Rates
2.1 The rates mentioned are inclusive of consumption of water and electricity. The rates are inclusive of applicable government levies, exclusive of tourist tax.
2.2 The rates are exclusive of costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs of optional reservations.
2.3. The rates mentioned are without obligation and are subject to interim changes.
2.4 All information on Casa Sensi’s website (www.casa-sensi.com ) is provided in good faith and is always subject to possible changes. Casa Sensi is not bound by any manifest errors on its website.
3.0 Reservation and payment
3.1 Direct reservations are possible online at www.casa-sensi.com . Reservations can also be made by phone, whatsapp or email. In addition, Casa Sensi can be booked through commercial booking websites. For reservations through commercial booking websites, the booking conditions of these organizations apply.
3.2 Direct reservations are final after written confirmation by Casa Sensi.
3.3 For direct reservations made more than 30 days before the check-in date, 50% of the total travel sum (excluding additional costs and taxes) must be paid within 5 days after reservation. The remaining 50% of the total travel sum (excluding additional costs and levies) must be paid no later than 30 days before the check-in date. If the check-in date is within 30 days of the reservation date, the total travel sum (excluding additional costs and taxes) must be paid in full in advance. After receipt of the (down) payment, the reservation is confirmed. If the (down) payment is not received on time, Casa Sensi reserves the right to cancel the booking, without refund of (down) payments already made.
3.6 Payments can be made to Deutsche Bank bank account ES20001900441040130113 in the name of D.G.S. Dikker e/o E.B.P.J. Winkelman.
3.7 Payment of tourist tax and possible additional costs, have to be paid at check-in in cash or by BIZUM.
4.0 Cancellation
4.1 For reservations through commercial booking websites, the cancellation conditions of these organizations apply. Casa Sensi advises its guests to arrange a fully covering all-risk travel and cancellation insurance for booked stays.
4.2 (Deposit) payments on confirmed direct bookings are non-refundable.
4.3 In the event of a no-show, a cancellation after arrival, or an early departure during the stay, the confirmed total travel sum (excluding additional costs and taxes) will remain due and no refund will be made.
4.4 Cancellations can only be made by email to info@casa-sensi.com, stating the reservation number.
4.5 Casa Sensi can only terminate the reservation agreement in the event of force majeure (see art. 7.1). In these cases, Casa Sensi will make an alternative offer to the guest as soon as possible. If this is not possible, or if the guest does not accept the offered alternative, the total paid travel sum will be refunded. Casa Sensi is not liable for any other damage as a result of a cancellation by Casa Sensi.
5.0 Damage
5.1 Guests shall behave properly and use Casa Sensi’s accommodation in accordance with the instructions for use and the accommodation agreements.
5.2 (Principal) guests are jointly and severally liable for any damage caused by them or any of their fellow guests to the accommodation or to any items on it. The actual damage shall be assessed by the Casa Sensi owner/administrator.
5.3 Guests must report any damage (damage, loss, loss and/or theft) to the owner/administrator immediately. The guest shall immediately compensate costs of repair and/or replacement.
5.4 Keys to the guest house must be returned on check-out. In the event of keys or other items on loan from Casa Sensi being lost or not returned, the main guest will be charged for all costs incurred. These costs must be paid upon check-out.
6.0 Complaints
6.1 Although Casa Sensi will do everything in its power to prevent complaints, we are pleased to hear from our guests whenever anything is not to their satisfaction. We will try to resolve any complaints quickly and adequately within the scope of our possibilities.
7.0 Force majeure
7.1 In the event of extreme force majeure, both permanent and temporary, Casa Sensi is entitled to dissolve or temporarily suspend the agreement in whole or in part, without the guest being entitled to fulfilment and/or compensation. Extreme force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, molestation, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters, pandemics (COVID-19 ) and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc. under which full or partial fulfilment of the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be requested from Casa Sensi. In these cases Casa Sensi will make an alternative offer to the guest as soon as possible. If this is not possible, or if the guest does not accept the alternative offered, the total amount paid will be refunded. Casa Sensi is not liable for any other damage as a result of a cancellation by Casa Sensi.
7.2 In case of extreme force majeure beyond the reservation taker’s control, such as: pandemics (COVID-19), impossibility to travel due to extreme natural disasters such as earthquakes or tsunamis, in case of (terrorist) attacks, Casa Sensi will make an alternative offer as soon as possible to the guest. If this is not possible, or if the guest does not accept the alternative offered, the total paid travel sum will be refunded. Casa Sensi strongly advises its guests to take out cancellation insurance.
8.0 Liability
8.1 Casa Sensi cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by guests or third parties as a result of their stay in the accommodation. Casa Sensi cannot be held liable for faults in and around the accommodation, such as power, water and technical installations breaking down, or for building and/or road works in the vicinity of the guest house that were not announced or were announced late.
8.2 Casa Sensi can only be held liable for damage attributable to gross negligence or fault on the part of the owner/administrator.
8.3 Without prejudice to the provisions in 8.1 and 8.2, if and to the extent Casa Sensi is held liable at law for any reason whatsoever in connection with the reservation agreement, its liability shall always be limited to direct loss and any form of consequential loss shall be excluded. Furthermore, Casa Sensi’s liability shall always be limited to the maximum amount paid out by its insurer in the relevant case.
8.4 Casa Sensi accepts no liability for injury to persons and/or damage, loss or theft of property of users.
9.0 Privacy
9.1 Casa Sensi respects the privacy of its guests. The personal data provided or made known will be treated confidentially by the owner(s) / manager(s) and will not be made available to third parties, except pursuant to the registration obligation of data imposed by the government.
10 Final provision
10.1 Unless otherwise provided for in rules of international private law, these terms and conditions shall be governed exclusively by Spanish law. The general terms and conditions are available in Dutch, Spanish and English. In case of differences in interpretation as a result of translation, the Dutch version and explanation shall prevail.
10.2 Any disputes arising from the reservation agreement or these terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in Spain, unless the rules of international private law provide otherwise.
10.3 Neither party may transfer its rights and obligations to any third party unless these terms and conditions provide otherwise.
10.4 If and insofar as any provision in the booking agreement and these terms and conditions turns out to be null and void, the remaining terms and conditions will remain in force and the null and void article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way as to bring it in line with the apparent intentions of the parties.
