Costa Brava

The Costa Brava is a 200-kilometre stretch of Mediterranean coastline in Catalonia, in northeastern Spain, starting in Portbou, on the French border, and reaching as far as Blanes.

Places to visit

Our accommodations are located in the centre of the Costa Brava with its beautiful beaches, small coves and wonderful natural areas. Besides the beautiful weather, Costa Brava offers a variety of wonderful places that will surprise you!

Platja el Castell is a beautiful bay and very popular with locals. The beach is located in a nature reserve and is not surrounded by apartment buildings.
There are several hiking trails and opportunities for mountain biking.

Platja La Fosca is very easily accessible and is close to the fishing village of Palamos. The sea with crystal-clear water is calm and the beach slopes gradually. There is a nice beach bar for something to eat and drink. There are several restaurants along the small promenade.

Palamós is a typical fishing village with a promenade that extends to Sant Antoni de Calonge. Palamós has a large beach, Playa Grande, where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and sailing.

If you are looking for more entertainment, Platja d’Aro comes highly recommended. This village offers many well-known shops. Platja d’Aro has many restaurants, bars and a number of discos. There is also plenty to do here for young people.

Also visit the picturesque village of Begur. Begur itself is not beachfront, but it is surrounded by beautiful small coves.

Pals consists of 2 distinct and separate areas. The medieval town of Pals gives an impressive and charming picture of its ancient history. Pals beach has extensive and wide sandy beaches.

Girona, is the official name in Catalan. Through Girona runs the river Onyar. In the centre, you will find of the hanging houses and bridges over this river. The old city centre is located on the steep hill and exudes a medieval atmosphere with its narrow streets and steps. The Cathedral is also well worth a visit. An ideal city to visit for a day while on the Costa Brava.

Peratallada is one of the best-preserved medieval villages in the whole of Spain.
Built around a castle, Peratallada has a typical medieval centre with narrow streets, gates and bridges. A stroll through Peratallada will take you back to times long gone.

Tossa de Mar is definitely worth a visit. Tossa de Mar is located in the mountainous hinterland of the Costa Brava,
A town with cobbled narrow streets, cosy squares, a beautiful old castle and restaurants and shops. Right on beautiful coves.

Activities

The Camí de Ronda is a beautiful hiking trail with great views directly along the Costa Brava coast. The path starts in Portbou (France) and ends at Blanes.

The opportunities to enjoy your mountain biking are endless.

Girona province has an infinite number of mountain bike trails for every skill level.

Club de Golf Costa Brava in Santa Cristina d’Aro is one of the golf courses with the most history on the Costa Brava. It is a golf course with a total of 27 holes and two proposed routes.

In Torroella de Montgrí, you will find l’Empordà Golf Club with two 18-hole golf courses .

Close to Platja d’Aro is golf course Club de Golf d’Aro Mas Nou, a spectacular golf course due to its panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the Gavarres mountains.

PGA Golf de Catalunya in Santa Christina d’Aro is a golf course where many official golf tournaments have been played such as the Open of Spain or the European Tour tournaments.

You can dive at all levels. On the Costa Brava, you will find the ideal place to take your first dive with a diving course offered at one of the specialised centres in the area.
